SMT Machine Operator (San Diego)

Hiring: SMT Machine Operator Location: San Diego, CA Type: Contract Pay range: $24.00-$26.00/hr on w2 (all inclusive) We’re looking for an experienced Machine Operator with hands-on expertise in surface mount placement equipment. This role involves equipment setup, machine operation, parts verification, and working with IPC standards. Key Requirements: 1+ year experience with SMT/surface mount placement equipment Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and specifications Strong troubleshooting and communication skills High School Diploma or equivalent What You’ll Do: Perform machine setup, operation, and replenishment Verify parts and ensure quality per IPC standards Collaborate with team leads and provide feedback on processes Handle moderately complex issues and meet project deadlines Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
