We specialize in replacement siding and windows but also build decks, porches and patio covers.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for Siding and Window Installers at Village Siding and Windows located in Smiths Creek, MI. The Siding and Window Installers will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing siding and windows in residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include preparing surfaces, removing old windows and siding, installing flashing and waterproof barriers, ensuring proper insulation, caulking, and sealing joints to ensure energy efficiency and weatherproofing. Installers must also ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.QualificationsSkills in measuring, cutting, and installing siding and windowsExperience in surface preparation, removing old windows and siding, and installing flashing and waterproof barriersAbility to perform insulation, caulking, and sealing jointsStrong attention to detail to ensure energy efficiency and weatherproofingExcellent physical stamina and strengthAbility to work safely and adhere to safety regulationsPrevious experience in a similar role is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalentGood communication and teamwork skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportation
