Project Foreman

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a leading provider of mechanical and plumbing solutions, specializing in commercial and multi-family projects. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Foreman with expertise in plumbing and hydronic pipefitting systems to lead our installation teams. The Foreman will oversee field operations, coordinate project execution, and ensure hydronic (chilled/hot water heating & cooling) piping systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. *This is a remote opportunity with travel throughout the DMV to various clients.Responsibilities:Supervise and lead plumbing/pipe-fitting crews on job sitesInstall and oversee installation of hydronic heating and cooling systems, including:Dual-temp chilled/hot water closed loop piping systemsIsolation valve replacementsChilled/hot water Fan Coil UnitsPipe Insulation and FirestoppingDemo/Abatement SubcontractorsDrywall repair subcontractorsInterpret and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specificationsCoordinate daily work schedules for field technicians and subcontractorsEnsure installations meet project specifications, building codes, and safety standardsWork closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and office staff to ensure project timelines are metConduct quality control inspections of installed systems Qualifications:5+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or hydronic mechanical systems2+ years of leadership or foreman experience preferredJourneyman licenseStrong background in hydronic piping and plumbing systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specificationsExperience managing crews on commercial or large residential projectsStrong problem-solving and leadership skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesValid driver’s license with clean driving record
