Industrial Distribution Sales- Milwaukee

We are seeking an Industrial Sales Representative to join our sales team. This position is outside sales driven and is responsible for developing, servicing, and expanding relationships with current and prospective industrial customers using multiple techniques including regular sales calls, cold-calling, industry networking, customer recommendations, etc. to drive aggressive closure of all available opportunities.Primary DutiesDevelop, service, and expand relationships with current and prospective customers using Packer Fastener value-add programs. Sell Packer Fastener products and key focuses. Meet key performance indicator (KPI) as defined by leadership, pertaining to goals in sales calls, sales revenue, gross profit %, quotes, and pricing structure. Make sales calls in an industrial environment to grow Packer Fastener services and value-add programs and log them in the CRM. Overcome technical and business objections to close deals. Understand and follow Packer Fastener standards, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with other Packer Fastener team members and departments to ensure customer service standards are met and upheld. Utilize Packer Fastener support team members to maximize efficiency without sacrificing customer service. Support other Packer Fastener branches by assisting with day-to-day customer service needs of book accounts. Collaborate and cooperate with other Packer Fastener branches in the servicing of book accounts. Act as primary point of contact for accounts in book of business and abide by the Packer Fastener book of business rules. Participate in regular 1-1 meetings with manager and sales department meetings. Flexibility with schedule and hours to foster growth and relationship-building for book of business (in and outside of work). Follow Packer Fastener expense procedures and maintain good standing in expense management. Experience in a sales environment required. Experience and knowledge in operating, servicing, and selling Packer Fastener systems (vending, VMI, kitting, and fabrication) in the industrial market. Knowledge of CRM and ability to utilize NetSuite software. Excellent negotiation skills and proven ability to sell and close deals in a B2B environment. Ability to create and grow relationships by leveraging network to progress the sales cycle. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic math skills with the ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Willingness to travel for occasional overnight branch visits and training events. Proficient in common computer software including Microsoft Office and database software. The ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weight 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs. Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy.
