Long-Term Contract | Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
We are seeking an experiencedSite Plannerto support alarge-scale hydropower modernization projectinWenatchee, WA . This role will play a critical part in planning and coordinating construction activities for therefurbishment of multiple turbines and generatorsat a major hydroelectric facility.
This is anexcellent long-term opportunitywithyears of project work aheadand the potential to transition to a permanent role after the initial contract period.
For professionals open to travel,per diem is available for non-local candidates .
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and maintaindetailed, resource-loaded construction schedules (Level 4–5)usingPrimavera P6
Coordinatedaily and weekly planning activitieswith site construction teams
Leadshort-term planning meetingsincluding lookahead schedules and crew coordination sessions
Trackphysical progress, productivity metrics, and earned value , updating schedules based on site conditions
Identify schedule variances and developrecovery or mitigation plans
Reviewtechnical drawings and construction sequencesto identify interfaces and constraints
Supportschedule-related claims and delay analysiswhen required
Prepareprogress reports and S-curvesfor project leadership
Communicate schedule updates, risks, and recovery plans toproject management and site leadership
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of professional planning/scheduling experienceon engineering or construction projects
2+ years of on-site construction planning experience
Strong proficiency withPrimavera P6and scheduling methodologies
Experience coordinating schedules acrossmultiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.)
Ability to read and interpretconstruction drawings and technical documentation
Excellentcommunication, leadership, and analytical skills
Preferred Experience
Hydropower, energy, or heavy industrial project experience
Knowledge ofEarned Value Managementand progress tracking
Experience withLean Construction or Last Planner System
Scheduling or project management certifications such asPMP, PMI-SP, or AACE-PSP
Work Environment & Project Details
Location:Wenatchee, Washington (100% on-site)
Schedule:5 days per week / ~10-hour days
Contract Structure:Contract-to-Hire after initial period
Project Duration:Multi-year program withover a decade of planned work
Travel Support
Per Diem:GSA rate (~$178/day) available for non-local candidates
Travel:Flights may be arranged for mobilization when applicable
