This role will oversee and optimize global cash management, capital structure, and liquidity strategies, while safeguarding the company's financial health through robust risk management and financing strategies. The VP of Global Treasury will play a critical role in managing banking relationships, executing debt transactions, investing corporate funds, forecasting cash flow and ensuring compliance with internal controls and adherence to regulatory standards.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and enforce global treasury policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the businessOversee global cash flow forecasting, ensuring adequate liquidity to support operational and strategic needsActively participate in debt issuance, refinancing, credit facility negotiations, and other capital markets activities to optimize the company's capital structureMaintain proactive dialogue and enhance relationships with credit agencies to optimize credit ratingsManage relationships with banking partners and treasury service providers, ensuring competitive rates and high service levelsConduct routine business reviews with service providers to identify opportunities and address emerging risks or trendsDirect the development and execution of hedging strategies (foreign exchange and interest rate), monitor financial exposures, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal guidelinesOversee all credit card processing operations, including monitoring fraud and chargeback activity, and implementing risk mitigation strategies to maintain secure and efficient processesEvaluate emerging payment trends and recommend innovative payment solutionsProactively identify opportunities to optimize and automate treasury processes and controls across all locations, enhance policies, reporting tools, and data quality, and maintain operational excellenceProvide oversight of corporate travel and expenses (T&E) and purchasing card (P-Card) programs, evaluating and driving expansion of these programs globallyDeliver regular reporting and actionable insights to executive leadership regarding treasury performance and strategic initiativesCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives and drive treasury-related projectsFoster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the treasury functionIdentify and support the professional development needs of team members, promoting continuous learning and skill advancementRequirements:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or closely related discipline; CPA/CFA preferredExtensive track record, with over 15 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury or finance, including proven success in leadership roles and strategic decision-makingDemonstrated experience in capital markets, liquidity management, and debt and equity financingStrong executive presence and relationship-building abilities, fostering productive partnerships at all organizational levels as well as with external partiesSuperior communication skills, with the ability to distill and convey complex financial concepts clearly to a broad range of audiences, driving impactful, action-oriented outcomesProven ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple, complex initiatives in a dynamic environmentExperience working within multinational corporations; familiarity with the Latin America region is highly desirableBenefits Available:At Cinemark, we believe every team member should feel like a hero.
