Extruder Operator
Printpack Jackson is looking for a qualified candidate to fill their Extruder Operator role. Responsibilities Include: The Extruder Operator is responsible for the overall operation of Line 21 and assisting in the slitting process. Duties of this job include, but are not limited to; job set up and operation of the Line 21 extruder as well as the efficient function of the line. This position will also be expected to cross train and become proficient in other areas of the department. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or GED Able to read layouts Attention to detail Able to read measuring instruments including a tape measure Knowledge of dimensional measurements Able to work with fractions and decimals Ability to climb ladders & steps, lift and carry up to 50lbs. individually as well as bend and stoop to access lower areas of equipment Willingness and ability to work any shift Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
