Urgent Care Physician

Primary Care Physician Opportunity - Northridge, CAJoin one of Southern California s fastest-growing Independent Physician Associations offering a welcoming and supportive environment focused on quality care and physician success. We are seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician committed to delivering excellent clinical outcomes and compassionate care.Position Details:Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical examsDiagnose and develop treatment plans; clearly communicate with patientsPrescribe and refill medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with all regulationsPerform clinic-based, inpatient, and outpatient procedures as appropriate to trainingManage care transitions and coordinate with specialists, case managers, and allied health professionalsReview and act on diagnostic results (labs, imaging, EKGs) in a timely mannerUse NextGen EMR (or other designated systems) to document patient care per policyCover for other providers and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamRefer patients to specialty care when appropriateEngage in performance improvement, peer review, and protocol developmentRespond to patient communications via phone and patient portal promptlySupervise Advanced Practice Providers (PAs/NPs) as assignedCandidate Requirements:MD/DO from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certified or Board Eligible in primary care specialtyActive California medical licenseDEA certificationAdditional credentials based on specialtyCompensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary: $240,000 $340,000 annually (DOE)Sign-on bonus and discretionary awards401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with employer contributionEmployer-paid comprehensive medical, dental, and pharmacy coverageVision insuranceZero co-pays for in-network physician visitsFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Employer-paid life insurance and income protectionEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) and behavioral health resourcesTuition reimbursement and CME allowance (with paid time off)License renewal and mileage reimbursementMalpractice insurance providedGenerous PTO, sick days, and paid holidaysBusiness-casual working environmentCompany celebrations and referral bonus programThis is a unique opportunity to practice in a collegial setting where you can focus on patient care while enjoying long-term career development and work-life balance.
