POSITION SUMMARY As a Groundskeeper, you have the important job of creating the first impression for new prospects and keeping our current residents happy by maintaining the overall cleanliness of our Leasing Office, common areas, and communities grounds, including pools, laundry facilities, and plant beds, to maximize our curb appeal and our customers and residents perception of our community. Additionally, you will also help to prepare our vacant apartments for new residents. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Quality of Work. Fully cleans units or resident areas according to quality standards, including windows, floors, restrooms, carpets, and surfaces Fully cleans property common areas and leasing office according to quality standards Maintains the communitys grounds, including pools, laundry facilities, and plant beds, to maximize our curb appeal and our customers and residents perception of our community. Works independently with minimal supervision and provides valuable support to the property operations Work Schedules Completes all assigned housekeeping and cleaning tasks according to their daily work schedule Identifies the most efficient way to safely complete their scheduled workload and makes good use of available time Organization and Restocking Maintains and organizes housekeeping supplies and proactively notifies supervisor of supply needs Ensures facilities and units are well maintained and stocked, including replacing light bulbs and restocking restroom supplies, emptying trash on schedule Understands resident/ property schedules and performs housekeeping work to minimize any disruptions Reliable Attendance Shows up on time and ready to work all shifts Limits short-notice absences to rare occasions and requests time off with advanced notice Professionalism Maintains property standards for staff uniforms and dress codes Maintains property standards for hygiene and personal appearance for property staff Regulations and Safety Correctly operates all housekeeping/cleaning equipment with required PPE and safely stores all cleaning chemicals Maintains safe work habits by following all Company safety standards and procedures Keeps common areas uncluttered and proactively addresses potentially dangerous situations SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Personal Competencies Courteous, friendly polite personality Great people skills for resident relations Take pride in your work and in the apartment community Familiar with basic tools and housekeeping supplies Organized and detail-oriented Able to work independently and with minimal direction Hard working and comfortable in a busy work environment Able to multi-task Physical Requirements Able to work for long periods of time on feet Able to work in confined spaces Able to lift heavy equipment Reliable transportation and valid drivers license Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent Desired Work Experience 2+ years of professional groundskeeping experience 2+ years experience in multifamily groundskeeping RedPeak is committed to conducting all employment practices for employees at all levels without regard to race, creed, gender, color, religion, sex, national origin or ancestry, age, mental or physical disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity/status, pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, or any other characteristic protected by applicable state, federal or local laws, except where a bona fide occupational requirement exists.
