Backed by top-tier investors and led by second-time founders who previously built the first software supply chain security company, which was later acquired by Aqua Security, we’ve gone from stealth to serving global enterprise customers in under six months.As a Sales Engineer (SE) at Echo, you will act as the technical expert and trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to demonstrate Echo’s value, translate customer needs into technical solutions, and help close strategic deals.What You’ll DoPartner with Account Executives throughout the full sales cycle, from discovery to closeLead technical discovery calls to understand customer environments, challenges, and requirementsDeliver compelling product demos and presentations tailored to customer use casesDesign and explain technical solutions that align with customer needs and business goalsAnswer technical questions, handle objections, and support RFPs / security questionnairesAct as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to Product and Engineering teamsSupport proof of concepts (POCs) and trials, ensuring successful evaluationsStay up to date on Echo’s product, roadmap, and competitive landscapeRequirements4+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar pre-sales roleStrong technical background with the ability to quickly understand complex systemsExperience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) – advantageExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesCustomer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and wearing multiple hatsAbility to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and EngineeringPreferredExperience selling B2B SaaS or enterprise softwareBackground in security, infrastructure, DevOps, or data platformsExperience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cyclesWhy echo?We're a fast-growing team composed of some of the coolest and most passionate people you'll meet, solving hard problems that really make a difference.
