This role involves both clinical and hospitalist support, patient education, and administrative duties.It is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to the growth of an integrated Digestive Health practice.Responsibilities • Conduct physical exams and obtain detailed patient histories• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, imaging, endoscopies)• Prescribe medications under physician supervision• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle changes• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed• Maintain accurate and timely medical records• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care• Participate in quality improvement initiativesRequirements• WA State Physician Assistant license required• WA DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority required• ACLS, ATLS & BLS for Healthcare providers - certification by AHA required• Digestive Health Experience PreferredAbout Valley Hospital MultiCare Valley Hospital is a 123-bed, fully accredited acute-care hospital in Spokane Valley, featuring a Level III Trauma Center, comprehensive surgical, inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services, and advanced cardiac care. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $159,000.00 - $171,200.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
