Research AnalystCauseway Capital Management LLC provides equity investment management services to institutional clients worldwide, including pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, public retirement systems, endowments, foundations, mutual funds, and other institutional investors. Our investment approach combines rigorous fundamental and quantitative research, supported by proprietary risk analytics that enhance decision-making across portfolios.The Research Analyst will play a key role in conducting deep fundamental research on globally listed companies within the Consumer Staples sector. Responsibilities include building and maintaining detailed financial models, analyzing company and industry trends, and developing well-supported investment recommendations grounded in rigorous accounting and financial analysis. The Analyst will engage directly with senior management teams at covered companies, collaborate with sell-side analysts, and clearly communicate research findings and recommendations to the investment team. This role also involves close collaboration with research colleagues across geographies, including teammates in China, and providing cross-sectoral perspectives to both fundamental and quantitative researchers covering areas such as Communications Services, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, Industrials, and Technology. Each Research Analyst is paired with at least one senior investment professional who serves as a mentor, providing ongoing guidance and exposure to the firm's investment philosophy and decision-making process. The program is designed as a 24 year role, with the potential for continued growth and advancement within the firm upon completion.Skills and Abilities:Minimum of three years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related financial field.Prior Consumer Staples sector research experience strongly preferred.Undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials; CFA designation or progress toward CFA is desirable.Graduate degree in Business is a plus.Demonstrated passion for equity investing and an appreciation for disciplined, value-oriented investment strategies.Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.Excellent analytical, accounting, and financial modeling capabilities.Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.Intellectual curiosity and creativity.Proven ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently.Benefits of Employment:Frequent performance feedback and semi-annual performance reviews.100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents.100% company-matched 401(k).Flexible work arrangements including limited remote work.Child and dependent care assistance.Gym sponsorship.Firm-wide volunteer opportunities.Annual Salary: $135,000 175,000.
