Client Engagement Center Associate

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:Bachelor degree required; SIE (Securities Industry Essential's exam) preferredOne year of work experience in the financial services industry or sales related field preferredKnowledge of quantitative mutual fund investment techniques and terminology preferredMust possess or immediately obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 66 (or equivalent) licensingMAJOR DUTIES:Participate in the 15-week paid training program to obtain FINRA licenses and to develop sales skills, product, system and industry knowledge.Work in partnership with external sales representatives to gain basic knowledge of the client base, investment products, marketing campaigns, and information about Federated Hermes' key competitorsConduct systematic sales calls via telephone to clients and prospective clients to acknowledge trades, identify needs, solicit business, and explain Federated Hermes' investment products and processesDevelop relationships with financial intermediaries, customers and prospectsRespond to incoming inquiries from existing/prospective financial intermediaries regarding Federated Hermes' products, services and sales ideasMeet individual production goals and effectively participate in reaching department production goalsParticipate in ongoing training, including product knowledge, presentation skills, and seminars to fully develop professional skillsDemonstrate ability to learn, utilize and maintain all systems thoroughly i.e. Salesforce, Microsoft Office, FindersRemain current with industry trendsAttend industry conferences and seminars on occasionHOURS/LOCATION:8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; or 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. depending on region supported (Overtime as required)Federated Hermes Tower - Pittsburgh, PA 15222Hybrid Location (office/remote)EXPLANATORY COMMENTS:Positions are based in Pittsburgh and support external sales representatives in various marketsEmphasis on sales skills, product knowledge and building relationships with clientsAbility to work as a member of a teamExcellent oral communication skills (telephone voice) and presentation skills requiredExcellent decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills requiredAbove average attention to detail requiredIndividual will be required to sign an Employment AgreementTravel to attend client meetings and conferences as appropriateMust possess/maintain a valid driver's license
