Job Description SummaryOperates telecommunications or radio equipment to provide operator or dispatch services. This class consists of entry- and journey-level positions which may involve lead worker functions. Serves as a PBX or Centrex attendant. Trains PBX or Centrex attendants. Serves as shift supervisor; prepares work schedules for other attendants. Operates radio or teletype equipment. Receives and transmits routine and emergency radio, telephone and teletype traffic.
