A hospital in need of an experienced pharmacist is seeking a dedicated professional for a travel assignment in the Bellefonte, PA area. This opportunity involves working at a community hospital with approximately 150 beds, providing essential pharmacy services in a dynamic inpatient setting. The assignment is expected to last 6 to 8 months, with a start date as soon as possible.Responsibilities:Perform order verification with accuracy and attention to detail.Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.Consult with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize patient medication therapy.Utilize pharmacy IT systems including Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis.Qualifications:Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania.Minimum of one year of inpatient pharmacy experience.Familiarity with Meditech is highly desirable.Ability to work full-time with flexible availability for days and afternoons.Schedule:Variable days and afternoons with some flexibility.Location:Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.
