The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of various departments, including nursing, therapy support, education, infection prevention, wound care, dialysis, scheduling, respiratory therapy, and dietary. This role demands 24-hour accountability for clinical performance, quality outcomes, and patient safety, as well as the management of a large team of direct and indirect reports. The CNO will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and enforcing policies, procedures, and standards of care, and will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure regulatory compliance and drive hospital goals.Applicants for the CNO position at the company must have a current unrestricted RN licensure in the state of Colorado, with BLS certification required and ACLS preferred. A CRRN certification is also necessary to be obtained within one year of meeting eligibility requirements. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field is required, with a Master’s or higher degree strongly preferred or in progress. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of inpatient hospital experience, with at least 2 years of recent nursing management experience that includes 24-hour accountability, FTE/staff management, policy/procedure development, budget oversight, and disciplinary responsibilities.
