If you want to experience a fresh perspective on senior living, join us today!You will enjoy:$5,000 sign-on and retention bonus for full time employees; distributed incrementallyMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance$0 single payer medical benefitTuition reimbursement programAn employee appreciation bonus, which is funded by our residentsOffering DailyPayLife insuranceLong-term disability insurance403 (b) retirement plan with employer matchPTO and paid holidaysPet insuranceAFLACAn exceptional work environment that is both engaging and fun!Who you are:Current licensure by the California Board of Registered NursingCurrent CPR certificationTwo years in long-term care with prior charge nurse experience preferredExperience with wound care and admissions strongly preferredKnowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care standardsStrong assessment, organizational, and communications skillsAbility to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary teamJob Summary:Coordinates and completes clinical admissions for new residents in a timely and accurate manner.Essential Job Duties:Perform comprehensive nursing assessments upon admissionReview hospital records, discharge summaries, medication lists, and physician ordersInitiate and document care plans based on resident needsCommunicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and familiesEnsure all admission documentation meets regulatory and facility standardsPerform wound assessments, treatments, and dressing changes per physician ordersEnsure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance standardsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary rounds as requiredAssist with audits, surveys, and regulatory compliance activitiesSupport quality improvement initiatives related to admissions and wound careAll Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility.
