Compensation & Location:Location: Torrance, CAPay Range: $52.00 – $59.00 per hour (based on experience and internal equity)Schedule: Full-time, contract; long-term opportunityWork Type: 100% OnsiteBenefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 401k, Continuing and on-demand education📍 Must be willing to work onsite in Torrance, CA (LA County)✅ Sponsorship is available for this role‼️ ONLY W2 – NO CORP to CORP – NO 3rd PartiesPosition Overview:We are seeking a Mainframe QA Analyst with experience in financial systems testing to support validation of upgrades to the Customer Account Servicing System (CASS) through the CAP release process.This role ensures system reliability, compliance, and performance through structured testing processes including script-based testing in Quality Center, batch validation, and Full File Production Parallel (FFPP) comparisons.The ideal candidate thrives in complex enterprise environments and brings experience testing mainframe batch and transactional systems.Key Responsibilities: CAP Release TestingAnalyze CAP bundles and classify RSECS (Enhancements, Regulatory, Corrections)Select appropriate testing approach (SCRIPT, FFPP, FFPP-possible)Define regression scope for impacted processesTest Planning & ExecutionAuthor and execute test scripts using Quality Center (QC/ALM)Validate batch and online components including calculations and interface impactsPerform Full File Production Parallel (FFPP) testing and reconcile output differencesCompliance & DocumentationMaintain audit-ready traceability between RSECS, scripts, defects, and approvalsSupport regulatory validation and release governance processesCoordinate business review for regulatory changesDefect AnalysisIdentify, log, and communicate defectsConduct root-cause analysisPartner with development and operations teams to improve batch stabilityRequired Qualifications:3–5+ years of mainframe QA/testing experienceExperience testing batch, online, and interface-based systemsExperience with Quality Center / HP ALM test scriptingFamiliarity with mainframe job control and batch schedulingExperience in financial services systems (automotive finance preferred)Strong documentation and change control disciplinePreferred Qualifications:Experience working with CAP release processesExperience validating homegrown application modulesAutomotive finance system experienceBig 4 consulting experienceEnterprise-scale regulatory system testing experience
