OverviewTecolote Research, Inc. is hiring experienced program and acquisition management professionals to manage the cost, schedule and performance for Department of Defense acquisitions from the commercial, industrial and/or military perspective.Successful candidate will frequently interact with Space Force/Air Force and DoD tools such as TMT and MS Office Suite to initiate, track and close out various directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command tasks. Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic responses from internal and external program stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesCAG / Business Operations Member will:Be responsible for daily review/analysis/dissemination of tasksUse NIPR & SIPR Task Management Tool (TMT) & e-mail to retrieve/assign tasksUpdate tasker database, which will be provided to leadership at the end of each dayAssemble and provide instruction on the completion of electronic Staff Summary Sheet (eSSS) packagesEffectively communicate with offices at each leadership level (Directorate, Center, MAJCOM, SF, DoD) Prepare briefing slides for weekly leadership council meetingsAdvise leadership on status of assigned deliverablesMaintain appointment calendars and conference room schedulesAssist with acquisition planning documents such as acquisition strategies, RFPs and CDRLsAssist with performing market researchOther duties as assignedSkills RequiredExperienceMinimum 5 years of relevant experience with two years supporting DoD acquisition programsRecent experience with Space Force/Air Force and expert knowledge of DoD tools such as TMT and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Effective communication, planning, budgeting and programming skills to support ongoing and future Space Force AcquisitionsBachelor's degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics is requiredSecurity Clearance:US Citizenship is requiredActive Top-Secret security clearance is requiredEducationBachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
