Business Operations ManagerThe Business Operations Manager reports directly to the Execution Team (X6) Director. The Business Operations Manager assists the X6 Director with multiple business areas including: Business Development, Contract Performance & Execution; Customer Relations; Financial Execution (Revenue, Profits, and Indirect Budgets), Performance Metrics; Team Employee Management and Relations (Recruitment, Performance, Recognition, Mentoring, Time & Expense); and Corporate Taskings.Job Requirements Team Employee Management and Relations (Recruitment, Performance, Recognition, Mentoring, Time & Expense)Responsible for team's mentoring, goals, training, morale, and performance issues.Responsible for assisting X6 Director with interviewing and screening candidates, attending job networking activities and making hiring recommendations.Responsible for Time and Expense Reporting; including approving time cards, PTO, and expensesResponsible for working with HR on Performance Management including coaching, reward and recognition, discipline, and termination. Work with HR to develop Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) as required.Work with HR on Personnel Issues including, consultation, reward, discipline and termination. Work with HR to develop a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), as required.Review and advise employee on Self Evaluations and support the Performance Management processProvide required feedback/career assessments throughout the year and recommend salary changes and bonusesSchedule and lead team meetings at a minimum monthlyCommunicates with all team members and keep management updatedUnderstanding of all Corporate Policy and Procedures and clearly communicate to employeesResponsible for facilitating on boarding and new hire orientationSupport and facilitate the mission and company goals of Quantech ServicesContract Performance & ExecutionResponsible for all Execution of Contract Requirements per the PWS, SOW, Transition Plan, CDRLs, SDS (Performance Metrics)Review and advise Operation Teams regarding approval of Contract Modifications for signatureResponsible for quality of contract/financial information loaded into PeopleSoft dataSupport and assist in development of Labor Category qualifications and staffing plans are reviewed and approved to execute contractsAssist in OCI Mitigation Plans and Addendums to Quantech's Corporate OCI PlanCustomer RelationsInterface with customer for all issues including problem resolutionIdentify and report all customer issues and complaints to Quantech's QMS and Quality Manager, as neededProvide and promote outstanding customer supportPromote a working environment and service that warrants Outstanding CPARS and customer feedbackCustomer interface for baseline growth, and business opportunitiesBusiness Development (BD)Support the development of Capture Plans and Bid-No-Bid briefings for proposalsSupport customer Calls and Teaming Meetings to brief qualifications and assess opportunity and teaming structureAttend Industry and Customer events for corporate marketing/relationship buildingAssist in the Proposal Management Process as an Author, Reviewer or Volume LeadSupport Business Development promoting Quantech's capabilitiesPrepare Past Performance and Resume/Technical write-ups for proposal processCorporate TaskingsPrepare corporate resume and coordinate team submittalsAttend SLT meetings and answer action items from SLT meetingsCompetencies:Has good demeanor, professional appearanceProvide energetic and enthusiastic representation of QuantechHighly flexible to "get it done" and supports all efforts as required to executeWorks autonomously and requires minimal supervisionDisplays high level of initiative and involvement with corporate and customer needsHas the ability to develop, understand and explain corporate strategies to staffCapability to develop and motivate staffAbility to work with others under stressful personal situationsJudgment and maturity to help address complex personnel issuesSelf starter with excellent written and verbal communication skillsUnderstand and displays Company's Core ValuesCommunicates well with all levels of team members and managementSimultaneously supports multiple departments in multiple locationsExcelled written and verbal communication skillsEducation Required: Master's degree is desired.
