Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - Vascular Interventional Radiology

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a fast-paced academic hospital IR department in Kansas City, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of IR and scrub experience.Job Details• Work in a high-volume Interventional Radiology department operating 7 procedure rooms with a siloed setup,• Handles approximately 60-65 cases per day, including all line placements for the entire hospital and outpatient services,• Cases are primarily neck-down with some light neuro overflow (e.g., thyroid biopsies),• Equipment includes Siemens Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee (single-plane; no biplane functionality),• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday,• On-call required as needed,• No weekend or holiday requirements; if a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, subsequent pay period will be adjusted accordingly,• May float to a secondary IR location (Cambridge IR),Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience with scrub experience required,• ARRT (Radiography) certification required,• Kansas State license required if applicable,• New graduates will not be considered,• Two professional references required for consideration,Additional Information• Perform interventional radiology procedures including vascular line placements, peripheral interventions, and light neuro overflow cases such as thyroid biopsies,• 3+ years of IR experience preferred, along with large hospital, peripheral, and neurovascular experience,• Orientation is held every Monday and Tuesday, with an additional nursing orientation component held Wednesday through Friday on a bi-weekly schedule,• This is a nicotine-free facility,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
