Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - CVORT

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience for a 13-week contract at a Level 1 trauma center hospital in Kansas City, KS.Job Details• Hospital CVOR unit within a Level 1 trauma center,• Flexible shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours between 0630-1900,• 40 hours per week,• Weekend call required approximately once per month on a rotation basis,• Floating may be required to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD,• Cardiac surgery patient population requiring strong scrub and circulating experience,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience in a Level 1 trauma center,• Previous circulating experience required,• Recent, strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries required,• CST certification required,• BLS certification required,• License required if applicable,• Two professional references required for consideration,Additional Information• Scrub and circulate on cardiovascular surgical cases including cardiac procedures,• Orientation consists of Monday-Tuesday new employee orientation (non-clinical),• Must be willing to take call on holidays, including Christmas,• Nicotine-free facility,• Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate; note that candidates residing within 60 miles of the Great Bend campus location are subject to a radius restriction
