MEDICAL ASSISTANT – URGENT CARELocation: Detroit, MI Facility: Liv Well Urgent Care Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-TimeLiv Well Urgent Care is seeking motivated, patient-focused Medical Assistants to join our opening team. This cross-trained role supports both front and back office operations to ensure efficient patient flow and an excellent patient experience.Key Responsibilities • Patient check-in and insurance verification • Room patients and obtain vital signs • Perform EKGs, injections, swabs, and specimen collection • Assist providers with procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care) • Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinic supplies • Perform basic lab testing and specimen handling • Support patient discharge and documentation in the EHRQualifications • Medical Assistant certification or relevant training preferred • 6 months – 1 year experience preferred (new graduates welcome) • Strong communication and multitasking skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced urgent care environmentClinic Hours Weekdays: 8 AM – 8 PM Weekends: 8 AM – 6 PMJoin our opening team and help build a modern urgent care clinic focused on high-quality, patient-centered care for the Detroit community.Urgent Care, ER, or family medicine experience is a plus.
