Position: Medical AssistantLocation: Honolulu, HIPay: $24.95/hourExperience: At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient setting preferred.Education: Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and eligibility for certification are required. Current Basic Life Support certification required. Pharmacology coursework or equivalent work experience required.Type: Full-time; ContractSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!Job Description:Perform patient intake, including medical history and electronic health record updates.Record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, height, and weight.Assist physicians during exams, minor procedures, and wound care.Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy, injections, and electrocardiograms.Prepare and handle lab specimens and maintain proper disposal of materials.Clean and sterilize medical instruments and exam rooms.Educate patients on treatments, medications, and care instructions.Position Requirements:Strong knowledge of clinical procedures and patient care practices.Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and medical equipment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare staff.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.Kahu Malama Nurses is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how work is bought, sold and delivered to enable access to the American Dream.We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
