Make Up Artist (with hair styling experience)- Part Time Work at Photographic Studio

Job description Studio 1 is seeking Professional Makeup Artist with Hairstyling experience to join our exclusive team. The Makeup artist will be focused on providing an amazing experience for each of our clients and will be responsible for providing makeup and light hair styling for our clients. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, engaged, and have a passion for our industry as well as a desire to create We are looking for high energy and personable makeup artists to help increase our client experiences Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Wardrobe styling as well as hair and makeup for each look Stylize outfits for each model, have them ready for the photoshoot. Coordinate with photographer Possess excellent communication skills when working with clients to interpret client expectations Ensure hairstyle and makeup is properly applied and completed before photo sessions Alter or maintain makeup during photo sessions as needed. Able to work quickly and accurately in time sensitive situations Strong interpersonal skills; a team player, positive and energetic Attention to detail Patient with a positive attitude Have working knowledge of makeup hygiene practices before, during and after application Maintain makeup room cleanliness and organization Qualifications: Minimum of two years experience in hair and makeup is mandatory Knowledge all skin / hair types Work well with small children. Has knowledge of general awareness of health and safety issues Willing to work a varied schedule that includes weekends We currently have 2 studios in NYC, 1 in Miami, 1 in Chicago, 1 in Boston and 2 in Texas (Dallas & Houston) www.Studio-1.us Job Type: Part-time Pay: $150.00 - $175.00 per day Benefits: Flexible schedule Experience: Makeup application: 4 years (Preferred) Hair styling: 4 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
