Job DescriptionJob Summary and ResponsibilitiesDignity Health Medical Group has a need for a EP Advanced Practitioner in Prescott, AZ (90 minutes from downtown Phoenix, AZ).Collaborate closely with the Electrophysiologist.Conduct thorough pre-procedure evaluations, including patient history review, physical assessments, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.Educate patients and their families about the details of heart procedures, including risks, benefits, and post-procedure care instructions.Assist in the coordination of patient care throughout the process, from pre-procedure preparation to post-procedure recovery and follow-up.Monitor patients' progress and recovery following procedures, addressing any complications or concerns as they arise.Provide ongoing patient education on medication management and lifestyle modifications to support long-term heart health.Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians and surgeons, and allied health professionals, to ensure seamless patient care delivery.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.What We OfferCompetitive salarySign-on bonus and RelocationExcellent benefits packageRetirementCME BenefitsPer-occurrence based Medical Malpractice, including tail coverageLoan repaymentAs a 501(c)3, we qualify for PSLF loan forgivenessJob RequirementsPA Requirements:Degree as a Physician AssistantGraduation from an accredited Physician Assistant programBackground in pre-med preferredMinimum 3 years Cardiology PA experience, preferably in an acute setting.Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.Valid DEA registration.Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staffNP Requirements:Master's Degree in nursing. Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitionersCompact state or Arizona RN licenseArizona Advanced Practice Nurse licenseSurgical First Assist certificationMinimum of 3 years Cardiology NP experience, preferably in an acute setting.Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.) NP-ANCC, or d).
