We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our hospitalist team in Terre Haute, Indiana. This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity for advanced practice providers who are eager to work night shifts and enjoy a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients during night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Work independently with single coverage, accessing on-call physician support as necessary. Manage patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans efficiently. Schedule: Flexible work pattern of 5 nights on followed by 5 nights off. Commitment to 7-10 shifts per month is required. Candidate Qualifications: Preferable to have ICU experience and a minimum of 3-5 years working as an inpatient hospital medicine Advanced Practice Provider. Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high standards of patient care. Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
