Radiology Tech Location: Hermiston, OR Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,160 to $2,304 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $60.00 - $64.00/Hourly. Summary: Provides health care services by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs Radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic radiography procedures. Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner. Prepares patient for procedures; provides instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. Selects and operates radiography equipment and associated devices to achieve desired results. Positions patient and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort. Determines radiographic technique exposure factors, minimizing exposure to patient and others. Requirements Requirements: Associate or bachelor’s degree from Radiologic Technology accredited program, 3 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, OBMI and ARRT Certification.
