School Psychologist-Multiple Openings

SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students across the Central Dauphin School District. The School Psychologist serves as a diagnostician and a key resource for teachers, school counselors, parents, and other professionals in determining effective instructional and behavioral strategies tailored to student needs. This role includes conducting psychological evaluations for special education identification, providing consultation, and promoting student wellness and resilience. The School Psychologist also upholds cultural sensitivity and acknowledges the diverse backgrounds of the students served.ResponsibilitiesConduct psychological assessments to determine eligibility for special education services.Serve as a consultant to teachers, counselors, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.Provide individual or ongoing counseling to support student wellness, resilience, and mental health.Assist in developing and monitoring appropriate instructional and behavioral strategies based on assessment data.Recognize and respect the cultural and linguistic diversity of the student population when making recommendations.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support plans.Prepare and interpret psychological reports for use in educational planning.Participate in meetings related to student progress, interventions, and evaluations.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines.Perform additional duties as assigned by administration.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.RequirementsPennsylvania School Psychologist Certification.Master's or Doctorate Degree in Psychology with appropriate state certification.Ability to pass all required background checks and meet district employment standards.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, assessments, and data.Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, counseling practices, and educational interventions.Ability to manage tasks independently, contribute effectively in group settings, and maintain organized documentation.Hours: Elementary - 8:35 AM- 4:05 PMMiddle School - 7:20 AM - 2:50 PM
