As a Behavioral Support Specialist you will contribute your leadership and behavioral expertise to guide an individuals team of support staff toward empowering the individual to build upon their skillset and succeed in targeted goal areas. You will identify essential strategies to encourage active engagement/participation, positive interactions, and perseverance.Key Responsibilities:Ensure clients health, safety, dignity, and individual rightsConduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)Develop Behavior Support Plans (BSP) that are individualized, identify SMART behavioral goals to be monitored, and are comprehensive in specifying strategies for implementation to support the individuals progressDevelop a Crisis Intervention Plan (CIP) and provide crisis intervention support as neededMonitor and analyze data, making changes when necessaryProvide training on the BSP and its implementationCollaborate with the persons service treatment team, including participation in the individuals ISP meetingsComplete/submit all daily progress notes and time sheets in a timely/professional manner in accordance with ACCS policyQualifications:Masters Degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis,REQUIREDo AND/OR have a PA Behavior Specialist Licenseo AND/OR BCBA ACCS offers supervision to those pursuing BCBA*Must have Valid PA Driver&#39;s LicenseJob Types: Full-timePay: $40.00-45.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:Day shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayOn callOvertimeWeekends as neededEducation:Master&#39;s (Required)License/Certification:PA Driver&#39;s License (Required)Position available in Pottstown, PAIf you&#39;re ready to make a difference and join a team that values you,apply todayand take the first step toward a fulfilling career at ACCS!
