Low-Level Software Engineer - Avionics Platform

REAL TIME CONSULTING (An RTCo Company)—POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Low-Level Software Engineer – Avionics Platform ABOUT THE JOB: Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions. You will be instrumental in helping the team supporting Next Generation Avionics. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Platform software including low-level I/O, drivers, board support package (BSP), UART interfaces, and more. REQUIRED SKILLS: 5+ years safety critical embedded software development experience Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages Experience developing software/hardware interfaces including low-level I/O, drivers, and UART interfaces Experience developing Board Support Package (BSP) software Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done Good positive interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with remote team members PREFERRED SKILLS: Avionics industry experience Integrated Modular Avionics, FMS, Flight Systems, or Flight Controls product experience Experience developing software in accordance with DO-178 Software requirements development experience Experience with DOORS Experience with JIRA ABOUT THE COMPANY: Real Time Consulting (RTC) exists to partner outstanding engineering talent to support our clients’ success.
