Lead Full Stack .NET Developer
Position Summary
Seeking a *Lead Full Stack .NET Developer* to lead a small development team and deliver complex enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with *C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular/TypeScript, SQL Server, Docker, APIs, and modern application architecture*, along with proven team leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a small development team in an Agile environment.
* Assign tasks, support sprint planning, conduct code reviews, approve timesheets, and provide performance feedback.
* Design, develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications.
* Develop complex *Angular/TypeScript, C#, ASP.NET Core/Web API, and SQL Server* solutions.
* Build and maintain *SSRS and Power BI* reports.
* Support application deployments and production issues.
* Analyze complex business and technical problems and recommend solutions.
* Work with developers, database administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders.
* Modernize legacy applications, including *AngularJS to Angular* and .NET Framework to .NET Core.
* Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
* Containerize .NET applications using *Docker/Docker Compose* and support container-based deployments.
* Work with *IBM MQ, SOAP/WSDL, SignalR*, and other integration technologies.
* Perform SQL Server development, troubleshooting, query optimization, and performance tuning.
* Follow Agile, SDLC, source-control, testing, and deployment best practices.
* Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical standards and process improvements.
Required Skills
* *5+ years* of software development, system design, or application support experience.
* At least *1 year of supervisory/team leadership experience*.
* *2+ years of hands-on Angular/TypeScript* development.
* Strong experience with *C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and REST APIs*.
* Strong *SQL Server* experience, including stored procedures, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
* Experience with *Angular 8+*, TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular modernization.
* Experience with *Docker and Docker Compose*.
* Knowledge of microservices and enterprise application architecture.
* Experience with *SSRS and/or Power BI*.
* Experience with Git or TFVC source control.
* Strong understanding of Agile development, testing, deployment, and production support.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with *IBM MQ, SOAP/WSDL, SignalR*, and asynchronous messaging.
* Experience with *Kubernetes or Azure Container Apps*.
* Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, AutoMapper, and dependency injection.
* Knowledge of JWT authentication, SSO, API gateways, and application security.
* Experience with legacy application modernization and migration to cloud-ready architectures.
* Experience decomposing monolithic applications into microservices.
* Experience with automated testing, xUnit, tSQLt, and TDD.
* Experience using *AI-assisted/agentic coding tools* for development and code review.
* Government, court, justice, or public-sector application development experience is a plus.
Education
* *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.*
* Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
