Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – West Virginia Start Date: ASAP Location: West Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period Highlights: 13-week travel contract with possible extension 34-bed Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry capability Patient ratios of 1:5-7, with acuity-based assignment optimization Cerner EMR system in use Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams 12-hour orientation provided with clinical nurse coordinators leading every shift Requirements: Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 or similar Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, pre/post cardiac cath care, feeding tube management, hemodialysis management, IV therapy, wound care, and respiratory management Must reside 75 miles from facility location Two professional references from managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dynamic medical/surgical team dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered care for adults with acute medical conditions.
