As a Bellperson, your passion for the property, and your respect for our guests' belongings will ensure that our guests Feel Welcome as soon as they arrive.What is in it for you:Competitive SalaryPaid Time OffMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401KEmployee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activitiesWhat you will be doing:Welcoming all guests and providing the highest level of guest satisfaction at every interactionTimely delivery of guests' luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the propertyPersonalize guests' orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging wayMaintain a presence in the Lobby when not delivering luggage to guest rooms, offering assistance to Guests, under the direction of the Guest Services leaders.Ensure that the Lobby and front entrance are kept clean, paying special attention to all glass areas and the main doors as well as anything left behind in the seating areas.Ensure that all deliveries for Guests and colleagues are correctly recorded and then delivered to the correct destination in a timely fashion.Undertake the duties and responsibilities of the Doorman, as directed by the Guest Service Manager.Demonstrate excellent knowledge and adherence of Fairmont standardsAnswer guest inquiries regarding Washington, D.C. and the hotel services and facilitiesEnsure the arrival and departure of all tours is a seamless process and competed in a timely, efficient mannerAdherence to all Health & Safety responsibilities as it pertains to hotel emergencies, fire alarms, accidents, and securityTo assist with room changes as directed by the Front Office.Rate of Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hourQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Service focused personality is essential; customer related experience an assetAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentExcellent communication skills and a professional presentationAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent lifting and carrying up to 100 lbsFrequent bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pullingAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:
