Sr. Cloud Developer #43150Contract/ Contract to HireAtlanta, GAExperience Level: SeniorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Senior AWS Java Full Stack Engineer to support AirVision Schedule Manager and ancillary processes used by the Network Planning business team.The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS serverless architecture, Java full-stack development, Python/Shell scripting, agentic AI tools, relational databases, and mobile technologies. This role will focus on developing scalable, supportable solutions for data streaming, cloud transformation and migration, API development, and critical business applications.Key Responsibilities:Develop robust, modular, and supportable designs for data streaming, cloud transformation/migration, and API product development supporting critical applications.Develop data APIs and data delivery services that support operational and analytical applications for internal business operations, customers, and partners.Create and support data-centric products spanning multiple platforms, technologies, and technical specializations.Analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into high-quality software solutions.Collaborate proactively with teammates and cross-functional teams.Develop creative technical solutions to overcome application and infrastructure challenges.Work within automated testing and CI/CD processes to support reliable software delivery.Develop deep technical and functional expertise in the products and applications supported by the team.Document technical solutions through written documentation, architecture diagrams, and other technical artifacts.Communicate technical designs, issues, and solutions effectively across teams.Follow established development and coding standards to ensure solutions meet architectural goals and business requirements.Identify technical issues and clearly articulate their business and technical impact, including the need for prioritization.Maintain proactive communication with both team members and leadership.Work collaboratively with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support application delivery and issue resolution.Required Skills & Experience:AWS & Serverless Architecture: Senior level - 7+ yearsJava Full Stack Development: Senior level - 7+ yearsPython & Shell Scripting: Senior level - 7+ yearsAgentic AI Tools: Senior level - 7+ yearsRelational Databases: Senior level - 7+ yearsAmazon RDSOraclePostgreSQLMicrosoft SQL ServeriOS & Android Technologies: Mid-level - 3-7 yearsStrong experience with API development and integration.Experience with cloud transformation and migration initiatives.Strong understanding of data streaming and data-centric application architectures.Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and third-party vendors.Preferred Candidate Profile:The successful candidate will be a senior-level engineer capable of taking ownership of complex applications and technical solutions while working collaboratively across teams.
