Full Stack Software Developer

Overview In this role you will contribute to the lottery division's engineering team, building and debugging complex systems that support funding for public initiatives. You will work independently and with peers to design solutions, review code, and potentially support production systems. The position emphasizes strong technical foundations, leadership, and mentoring within a mission-driven gaming and lottery context. You will engage with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable software in a regulated environment. ResponsibilitiesDesign, code, and debug source code and scriptsDocument and propose solutions from requirementsParticipate in requirements gathering and code reviewsSupport production lottery systems as an engineering expert when neededCollaborate with cross-functional teams on complex transaction engine codebase Key requirementsBS in Computer Science (or equivalent)8+ years' programming experience on large-scale transaction processingProcedural C development on Linux with low-level debuggingC/C++ expertise; strong software design and architecture understandingShared memory and memory mapping, data structures, and binary serializationProc SQL and Shell scripting (BASH) with Unix toolsVersion control experience; multi-threaded developmentself-starter with high quality outputstrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesability to work independently and in a teamJson/Xml parsingSystem V IPC with asynchronous processesOpenSSL for encryption/decryption
