Solutions Consultant
The RoleThis is a hybrid role: pre-sales support on the front end, engagement ownership on the back end.You'll join prospect calls alongside the CEO — helping shape the scope and translating between technical details and business outcomes. Once a deal closes, you take ownership: you run the kickoff, drive the first weeks of the engagement, and stay close to the client through delivery alongside our technical team.You won't be the deepest technical voice in the room. The CEO carries that piece on calls, our Director AI runs those conversations, and our pentest lead handles deep technical work. Your job is to be the steady, smart, organized presence that makes prospects feel understood during sales and makes clients feel taken care of during delivery. The handoff between sales and delivery is where consulting firms most often fumble. Your job is to make sure we don't.What You'll DoJoin prospect calls with the CEO and the Account Executive, where you are introduced as the go-to technical resource, before you escalate to the senior analystsTranslate technical detail into clear written proposals and SOWsRun kickoff calls and steer the first 30–60 days of every engagementServe as the primary client contact for engagement logistics, status, and scope questionsCoordinate with our internal team (pentest, assessments, ops) to keep delivery on trackMaintain delivery discipline across the firm in Asana — clean projects, clear owners, no dropped ballsContribute to our content and inbound motion as you build subject-matter expertiseWhat We're Looking For1–3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, IT, audit/risk, or technical client servicesNaturally good with people — you can be on a Zoom with a CFO and not fumble itOrganized and operationally disciplined; you don't drop ballsGenuinely curious about security and willing to ramp fast — you don't need deep AppSec or compliance depth on day one, but you need to want to build itComfortable saying "great question, let me get back to you" without losing the roomStrong written communication: clear emails, clean docs, no fluffNice to HaveBackground in an MSP/MSSP, Big 4 audit/risk, IT consulting, or in-house IT/securityFamiliarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other compliance frameworksExperience in one or more of our verticals: fintech, healthcare, construction, SaaSComfort with AI tooling — we use it heavily internallyCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $80,000, increasing to $85,000 after a successful 3-month review. Every employee has the same salary at FWS (different we know). Everyone gets a raise twice a year based on company performance.Bonus: Every employee has a different bonus plan. For this role it will be tied to engagement health — contributions to closing deals, clean kickoffs, client retention, scope expansion within accounts.
