You'll work a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, gaining meaningful professional experience and helping to shape positive outcomes for students.Desired Qualifications:Active and valid School Psychologist license in North CarolinaCertification to practice as a school psychologistPrevious experience working in school settings at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levelsStrong assessment and evaluation skills, with a keen understanding of best practices for K-12 studentsExcellent written and verbal communication to collaborate with educators and families Primary Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations and assessments for K-12 students to help identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needsCollaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff to develop and implement effective support strategies and interventionsMaintain thorough documentation and confidential student records in compliance with applicable regulationsParticipate in multi-disciplinary teams for Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help determine eligibility for servicesProvide consultative services and recommend resources to support student learning and well-beingThis contract position gives you a chance to directly influence the growth and success of students throughout a diverse school environment.
