This role assists clinical staff in patient evaluation and treatment while ensuring a safe, clean, and organized care environment. Works under the supervision of a Staff Nurse and supports patients across all age groups.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide chairside assistance during dental and oral maxillofacial proceduresDeliver direct patient care following individualized treatment plansMonitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration, intake/output)Take, develop, and label dental X-rays as orderedEnsure accurate patient identification prior to treatmentSupport care planning by communicating patient status to the care teamMaintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the clinical environmentDeliver excellent customer service to patients, staff, and providersQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an accredited Dental Assisting ProgramCertified Dental Assistant (CDA) and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant certification requiredCPR certification requiredRegistered Dental Assistant in New JerseyValid NJ Dental Radiologic Technology LicenseAbility to perform basic clinical procedures (vitals, patient support)Proficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelPreferredOral & Maxillofacial Surgery Anesthesia Assistant certification2+ years of related experienceBenefitsWeekly pay401(k) planMedical, dental, and vision coverageTraining and career development opportunitiesPay Details: $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
