Office Administrator

Centurion is looking for an Office Administrator for a hybrid role for our client in Washington DC.Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our office and assist with assigned projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in office administration, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This role requires relevant experience in office operations and a collaborative, service-oriented approach.Key Responsibilities:Office Operations Support: Assist with day-to-day office operations, including facilities coordination, procurement support, and vendor communication. Help ensure the office operates smoothly and efficiently.Project Support: Support special projects as assigned by management, including coordination, tracking, and follow-up to help ensure projects are completed on time.Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to managers and team members, including scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and meeting coordination. Serve as a point of contact for general office inquiries.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve office processes and workflows and assist with implementing approved changes.Compliance and Policy Support: Help ensure office policies and procedures are followed and assist with documentation and updates as needed.Event and Meeting Coordination: Assist with planning and coordinating meetings, events, and conferences, handling logistics and materials.Technology and Systems Support: Coordinate with IT and vendors to support office equipment and systems; help troubleshoot routine issues and track service requests.Qualifications:Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in office administration or a related role.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with tools such as Visio, Smartsheet, Basware, or ChromeRiver is a plus.Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with guidance.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Professional discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
