Ask anyone who knows us - the caliber of our people sets us apart.STANDARD WORK FACILITATORThe role of an Operational Excellence Standard Work Facilitator is a joint focus with primary responsibility to facilitate mapping of processes, authoring Standard Work with subject matter experts, maintaining Standard Work, and working with the Op Ex Director and team members as required to advance McGough's Lean transformation efforts.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent professional experienceExperience developing and applying Standard Work or managing a Standard Work system1-3 years of planning and facilitation or training2-4 years of experience in continuous or process improvement using Lean principlesPreferred:4-7 years of using Lean Principles (8 wastes, 5S, PDCA, Visual Mgmt., etc.)1-3 years of experience creating, implementing, and maintaining Standard Work2+ Years as relevant construction experienceSkills:Working knowledge of the Shingo Model, process design, and improvement methodologiesStrong facilitation skills with the ability to guide productive team discussionsProcess-oriented thinker who can clearly define activities, handoffs, and workflowsAbility to communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all levelsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentationSelf-directed and dependable, with consistent follow-through on commitmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative team contributor with a humble leadership styleHigh degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityStrong interpersonal and mentoring capabilitiesCommitted to advancing organizational priorities and strengthening relationshipsOffice and Travel:Office: Primary location is a McGough officeand hybrid several days per weekTravel: Minimal (10-20% or less); As required to local, regional, or national offices or jobsites.Responsibilities and Tasks:Standard Work System ManagementServe as the steward of McGough's Standard Work system to ensure consistency and enterprise-wide adoptionMaintain and update Operational Excellence and Standard Work resources on the McGough intranetSupport leaders and teams in developing, implementing, owning, and training on Standard WorkCommunicate updates and enhancements to workplace standards clearly and effectivelyFacilitate TeamsLead process mapping sessions to develop and refine Standard WorkFacilitate structured process improvement initiatives and ensure timely follow-upHold teams accountable to commitments while maintaining a respectful and constructive approachContinuous ImprovementCollect, document, and monitor data to support improvement initiativesPromote employee engagement through training, visual management tools, and internal communicationsApply Lean tools and methodologies to solve problems and eliminate wastePartner with teams to identify and reduce defects and inefficienciesFoster a culture of continuous improvement and empower employees to drive changeProfessional Development & CollaborationBuild and maintain relationships with operating units, regional offices, and project teamsPursues ongoing professional development through internal programs and external Lean organizationsCollaborates to align operational standards across the enterpriseContribute to McGough's Lean and Shingo transformation strategyActively participate as a member of the Operational Excellence TeamPerform other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:The physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee needs to be able to lift up to 20 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects; dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse; ability to hear and speak clearly; and ability to distinguish between colors on graphs and charts.Occasionally, employee will be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $75,000-$120,000, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Furthermore, we place significant value on pay equity among our current team members as part of any final job offer.Please note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role. Hiring near the top end of this range would be atypical, as we aim to allow room for future salary growth. Additionally, McGough offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. This includes insurance coverage for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability.
