Travel ICU/PCU Registered Nurse - $2,142 per week

A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • Must be comfortable floating between ALL ICU and PCU units • Staffing needs re-evaluated every 4 hours, may float 2-3 times per shift • Weekend requirement: May be every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block • Must work one holiday per 13-week contract • Patient ratios: PCU 5:1, ICU 2:1 • EPIC charting experience required • 24 hours of orientation provided • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • 2 years of ICU experience preferred • Experience at a Large Level 1/2 facility required • Must be skilled in IV therapy, arterial line management, central/PICC line care, blood product administration • Respiratory support experience with BiPAP, CPAP management, and ventilated patient care • Medication administration including continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, and cardiac/vasoactive drip titration • Wound care experience with surgical wounds, drains, and wound vacs • Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills • IV insulin protocol experience required • Care for adult and geriatric patients • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Facility: This 703-bed acute care teaching hospital serves as the flagship facility of a major healthcare system and is the region's only Level I Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients.
