Hybrid Role Virtual interview Position: Finance/Accounting Analyst Location: Tempe, AZ Duration: 6 Months with EXT ONLY ON W2!Will be heavily using SAP (HEC) application. Top 3 to 5 skillsets/years of experience:3-5 years of Payroll, Finance, or Accounting ExperienceExperience with in-depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modelingStrong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasksExperience with SAP Surrounding team/key projectsPilot ContractFlight related initiativesCA sick-flight SAP payroll experience is a hard requirement. Attention to detail is a must. A good background in regression testing, implementation experience, and/or UAT testing is preferred.Job Description:This job is a member of the Payroll Automation Team within the Finance Division.Responsible for gathering business requirements, testing, implementation, and documentation of payroll and business processes and related interfaces impacting the payroll systems and the general ledger.What you'll do:Gathers and documents business requirements related to payroll and business activitiesAnalyzes and evaluates information gathered from multiple sources to create documentation, including but not limited to business requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts, and test resultsAssists with developing and performing the testing related to the payroll system and downstream systemsRepresents the department in meetings and through written and verbal communication with internal and external customersAssists in identifying and documenting internal controls in support of the auditing teamSome travel is required, as neededMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field and/or equivalent experience/training, including payroll and payroll processesPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience:At least 3-5 years of Payroll, Finance, or Accounting experienceExperience with in depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modelingStrong analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasksExperience with SAP is requiredSkills, Licenses & Certifications:Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.Experience with system design and implementationAbility to read and understand multiple labor agreementsDemonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well under stressful situationsAbility to handle multiple assignments, changing priorities with minimal supervision
