CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE

We are looking for a full-time Certified Medication Aide who is dual certified (CNA/CHHA) to join our team at Fellowship Village. Help us make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults.Essential Functions:Manage the delivery of care to Residents in a compassionate and timely manner under the direction of the Nurse Team Leader or designee.Administer routine daily medications, both prescription and non-prescription.Observe Residents and report/document changes in their condition.Sign medication records and re-order medications according to policy and procedure.Provide first aid in emergency situations and report the condition to the Nurse Team Leader and/or physician; complete incident reports as needed.Assist Residents with activities of daily living (ADL) and encourage appropriate self-care, utilizing the concept of restorative nursing.Adhere to all policies and procedures related to Infection Control and safety regulations.Leads by example, maintaining a professional work relationship with team members, Residents, Clients, Members, Patients, and family members.Requirements:NJ State CMA certification.NJ State CNA/CHHA certification.Knowledge of medical and pharmacological terminology.Strong clinical skills.Commitment to person-centered care.Excellent communication and critical thinking.Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceLicense/Certification:Certified Medication Aide license (Required)
