As the business continues to expand, they're looking for a sharp, organized, and career-minded Project Manager to help lead exciting commercial projects from start to finish.What You'll Do:As a Project Manager, you'll be at the heart of daily operations managing commercial door and hardware projects with confidence, precision, and a customer-first mindset. You'll coordinate closely with contractors and customers, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure seamless delivery and installation of door and hardware systems using advanced tools like VT Online and Comsense.Key Responsibilities:Lead project planning, quoting, phasing, and full-cycle executionServe as the main point of contact for clients, general contractors, architects, and internal teamsOrganize and coordinate door and hardware schedules and delivery logisticsReview project documentation and sales sheets to confirm quantities, pricing, and specificationsProduce accurate shop drawings and schedules using Comsense and VT Online softwareAnalyze blueprints and specs to ensure compliance with UL, ADA, and life safety codesSolve technical and logistical challenges in real timeLead all phases of the project lifecycle from initial client engagement through close-out including:Conducting site walks and client consultationsDeveloping detailed scopes of work and construction strategiesCreating and presenting accurate estimates for client approvalSourcing and ordering materialsIssuing RFIs and RFPs to subcontractorsPreparing comprehensive bid submittals and overseeing final orderingManaging detailed project scheduling and daily oversightCoordinating subcontractor activities and job site operationsAdministering change orders and managing project documentationHandling invoicing and ensuring timely paymentExecuting project close-out procedures and final client handoffWork together with contractors during the bid process to secure new workReview scopes of work and construction plans to develop accurate takeoffs and cost estimatesCollaborate with and mentor Project Engineers, reviewing their work as neededContribute to a cross-trained, collaborative team culture with a focus on continuous improvementUphold the highest standards of safety, quality, communication, and client satisfactionWhat You Bring:5-8 years of experience in construction, building materials, door & hardware project management, estimating and detailing division 8 (door and hardware) commercial ground-up projectsExperience using Comsense, VT Online, and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to read blueprints and perform takeoffs with technical accuracyStrong grasp of commercial codes (UL, ADA, life safety, etc.)Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skillsAttention to detail with a solutions-first mindset and ability to thrive under pressureHigh school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree a plus)Must be able to lift to 15 lbs. and work at a computer for extended periodsWhy Join Us?Career Growth & AdvancementWe invest in our people.
