Project Manager - Commercial, Industrial, Multifamily & Education ConstructionPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial, industrial, multifamily, and higher education construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will manage project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with contract requirements. This role requires strong leadership, technical construction knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of construction projects including planning, pre-construction, procurement, field execution, commissioning, and closeout.Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and schedules; proactively identify and mitigate risks to meet project goals.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams; ensure work meets contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact; maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and provide regular status updates and reporting.Prepare and review project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, progress reports, and meeting minutes.Ensure compliance with building codes, contract terms, regulatory requirements, and company policies; drive a culture of safety and quality on-site.Implement construction best practices and continuous improvement initiatives; mentor and train junior staff and field personnel.Resolve field and project-related issues promptly and professionally, including claims, disputes, and coordination challenges.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial, industrial, multifamily, or higher education construction projects.Proven track record managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, with demonstrated ability to meet schedule and budget targets.Strong knowledge of construction methods, means and materials, building codes, and safety regulations.Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project); competency in Microsoft Office.Experience preparing and managing contract documents, change orders, and cost-control systems.Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED accreditation are a plus; valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offVision insurance
