IT Buyer

Job Title: IT BuyerJob DescriptionAs an IT Buyer, you will play a critical role in supporting the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential to building and launching our Terran R rockets. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing aligned with our mission to revolutionize aerospace through additive manufacturing.Responsibilities+ Process purchase requests into purchase orders using ERP systems efficiently and accurately.+ Collaborate with internal teams to gather procurement requirements and translate them into RFQs and POs.+ Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to optimize value for the business.+ Manage supplier relationships under the guidance of Category Managers to ensure quality and reliability.+ Resolve procurement issues throughout the lifecycle of an order, including invoice discrepancies and delivery delays.+ Support strategic sourcing initiatives to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.Essential Skills+ Proficiency in procurement, supply chain, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or Netsuite.+ Strong negotiation skills.+ Experience in purchase order creation and invoice management.+ Advanced Excel skills.+ At least 3 years of purchasing experience within IT or indirect purchasing in a manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Experience with strategic sourcing initiatives.+ Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a manufacturing environment located in Long Beach.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
