We combine our strategic manufacturing capabilities with the power of our winning team culture to deliver unrivaled customer service, award-winning innovation and premium products to all of our customers.Manager of Manufacturing EngineeringOur Manager of Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for leading and directing the Manufacturing Engineering team of Ranch Hand products, as well as, working within the Kaizen Program through leadership, interaction, and support of functional leaders within the business. They also ensure increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials, and machines.ResponsibilitiesPromoting a high level of cooperation with design engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and marketing to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles are practiced, new products are launched on-time, and manufacturing costs are controlledCoordinating with Engineering and Operations on production processes and new product launchesEnsuring manufacturing standards are maintained and aligned to shop floor operational levelsReviewing and aligning all manufacturing equipment to all local, state and federal safety standardsDeveloping new processes and standards for new product introductions, acquisition integrations and product re-alignments within the Ranch Hand facilityRefining, maintaining, and implementing the manufacturing vision to align with corporate objectivesCreation, oversight, and implementation of annual CapEx plansEvaluating new technical developments and investments that will advance company objectivesEffectively manage projects and delegate responsibilitiesFacilitate and coordinate project activities to minimize project timelinesPromoting a positive development culture including: innovation, improvement, professional growth, teamwork, manufacturing excellence, and ownershipOversight of Manufacturing Engineering budgetValidation of new equipment and fixtures for production implementationQualificationsWork Experience: 5 years of experience as a manager or supervisor, within manufacturing engineering management Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fieldComputer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Solidworks or other 3D modeling softwareOrganization Skills: Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work and handle multiple job assignments; high level of process management and improvement Cross-functional skills: Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments; ability to work with and communicate with other departments including Tooling, QA, Engineering and ManufacturingCommunication Skills: Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information; ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; strong interpersonal skillsPreferred Education And ExperienceWork Experience: 8 years of relevant manufacturing managerial experience CNC fabrication, welding or powder coat manufacturing experienceAutomotive OEM supplier or aftermarket experience TravelTravel will be 20% of the role.Work Authorization/Security ClearanceMust be able eligible to work for any employer in the United States.Why We Are DifferentAt Lippert, Everyone Matters.
