We are seeking an Anesthetist in Wisconsin for a 1-day assignment starting Feb 25, 2026. This role involves providing general anesthesia for complex spine and neurosurgical procedures, managing airways, maintaining hemodynamic stability during fusion procedures, and collaborating closely with the neurosurgery team. You will also conduct pre-op and post-op patient evaluations, ensuring safe perioperative care in accordance with facility protocols. The typical shift runs from a 6:30-7:00 AM arrival to 3:00 PM. Responsibilities and Duties Provide general anesthesia for complex spine and neurosurgical procedures Manage airway for cervical spine cases Maintain hemodynamic stability during fusion procedures Collaborate closely with neurosurgery team Pre-op and post-op patient evaluation Ensure safe perioperative care in accordance with facility protocols Additional Information Expected cases include Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (L4S1 PLIF), Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (C5C7 ACDF), Endoscopic cervical neurolysis (C6C7), Ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt placement, and Peripheral nerve stimulator insertion. Shift hours are typically from 6:307:00 AM arrival until 3:00 PM.
