Senior Electrical EngineerLocation: Houston, TX 77090 Job Type: Full-TimeOur client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical system designs, mentor junior staff, and ensure quality for switchboards and automation systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead design of UL-891 switchboards, motor and drive controls, and other power distribution systems using AutoCAD Electrical and various other tools.Develop schematics and conduct system analyses.Troubleshoot issues during manufacturing, testing, and field installation.Ensure compliance with UL-891, ANSI/NEMA, and IEC standards.Mentor junior engineers and maintain project documentation.Work flexible hours to meet deadlines.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; master’s preferred.7+ years of experience, with 3+ years in a lead role.Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and ERP systems.Knowledge of UL-891 standards.Strong analytical and mentoring skills.Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Certification, PE license, Project Management Experience
